On December 8, a delegation led by Mr. August Borg, Counsellor at the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing, visited BUCEA. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as educational cooperation, scientific research innovation, and cultural heritage.

CHEN Zhaohui highlighted that several Swedish universities are at the forefront of international development in fields like architecture, design, and sustainable development. She expressed hope for practical cooperation with prestigious institutions such as the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Mr. August Borg emphasized that education has always been a key area of China-Sweden cooperation. He welcomed more Chinese students to study in Sweden and stated that Sweden would continue to improve the support system for international students. He also expressed his commitment to promoting closer inter-university cooperation between BUCEA and Swedish universities in the future.

During the meeting, BUCEA also provided an overview of its internationalization efforts, the commercialization of its research achievements, and the establishment and development of “Luban Global School” worldwide.
