Recently, the list of the Science & Technology Innovation Platform was released by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development (MOHURD). The Engineering Technology Innovation Center for Construction Waste Resource Utilization led by BUCEA and the Engineering Technology Innovation Center for S&T Achievement co-applied by BUCEA have been approved for construction. It is reported that the Science & Technology Innovation Platform of the MOHURD is an important strategic plan launched by the Ministry to improve its scientific and technological innovation capabilities in the field of housing and urban-rural construction, starting from 2024. BUCEA is the only organization that has won three National Science & Technology Progress Awards regarding construction waste, and has undertaken the work of promoting the first national key R&D plan in this area.
