On July 28, BUCEA was invited to participate in the 16th China Information Accessibility Forum and the National Accessible Environment Exhibition in Harbin. The event was attended by over 200 representatives from all walks of life, including special committees of the National People's Congress, ministries and commissions under the State Council, local Disabled Persons' Federations, colleges and universities, research institutes, architectural design companies, and social organizations.  

The forum was dedicated to exhibiting the achievements of accessible environment construction across the country. 22 representative cases were jointly announced by the Center of Science and Technology and Industrialization Development under the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Promotion Office of Accessible Environment of the China Disabled Persons' Federation. "Small Space, Big Life—Action Plan for Renovating Daily Micro Space", a senior-friendly renovation project for accessibility launched by Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Future Urban Design (UDC) in BUCEA, was enlisted and promoted nationwide.

On a sub-forum focusing on "Urban Accessibility Design", LV Xiaoyong, Associate Professor of BUCEA, gave a report titled "Small Space, Big Life: Accessibility Design and Practice of Daily Micro Space Renovation" on behalf of UDC.
