Recently, the Beijing Municipal People’s Government issued the Decision on Recognizing Individuals and Achievements for the Jingshi Award, officially honoring outstanding teaching achievements in higher education across the city in 2025. BUCEA received 13 awards, including 9 undergraduate teaching achievement awards and 4 graduate teaching achievement awards. BUCEA also won one Special Prize in the undergraduate category, marking a historic breakthrough for the university. In terms of both the number and quality of awards, BUCEA ranked second among Beijing municipal universities. In the undergraduate category, BUCEA received one Special Prize, three First Prizes, and five Second Prizes, for a total of nine awards.
The Special Prize-winning project Building and Practice of an International Platform for Cultivating Outstanding Engineering Talent Through the Integration of Four Chains in the Belt and Road Architecture Sector was developed based on nearly ten years of practice under the Belt and Road Architectural University International Consortium (BRAUIC), which was led by BUCEA.
The project established an international resource network comprising one university consortium and 24 international organizations, creating an international outstanding engineering talent development platform that integrates the education chain, talent chain, industrial chain, and innovation chain. Through this platform, BUCEA has attracted and cultivated nearly 100 high-level international scholars, trained nearly 10,000 internationally competitive engineers, and extended its educational impact to more than one million students worldwide. The achievement has received recognition from national leaders and professional organizations both in China and abroad, and represents a historic breakthrough in the quality of BUCEA’s undergraduate teaching achievements at the municipal level.

The Beijing Higher Education Teaching Achievement Awards, established by the Beijing Municipal People's Government, are among the most prestigious teaching awards in the capital's higher education sector and represent the highest level of achievement in educational reform and teaching excellence among Beijing universities. With 13 awards, BUCEA ranked first among all non-“Double First-Class” universities in Beijing in terms of overall performance in the 2025 awards.
