On March 31, the National Standard on Flue Gas Condensing Heat Recovery Unit for Gas-Fired Heating Boilers (GB/T 47394-2026), led and developed by BUCEA, was officially approved and released.

The standard was proposed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China. BUCEA served as the lead coordinating institution, with 24 additional contributors, including research institutes and leading enterprises across the industry.

Previously, BUCEA also took the lead in formulating China’s industry standard for urban construction products on “Flue Gas Condensing Heat Recovery Unit for Gas-Fired Boilers” (CJ/T 515-2018), which filled a gap in both domestic and international technical standards in this field.
The release of this new national standard marks another significant achievement for BUCEA in the field of energy-efficient heating standardization. It further demonstrates BUCEA’s growing leadership in this area and highlights its strong research foundation and industry influence in flue gas waste heat recovery technologies.
