On June 24, a delegation of education representatives from Kazakhstan, accompanied by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Almaty, visited Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) for exchanges and discussions. CHEN Hongbing, Vice President of BUCEA, met with the delegation. HUANG Jianping, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office (International Education College) at Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, and WANG Xin, Dean of the School of International Education at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, also attended the event.

CHEN Hongbing warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced BUCEA’s achievements in international education.

Mr. Dosym Besbay, head of the delegation and Chairman of the Board of Prometheus School, expressed his appreciation for the University’s warm hospitality. He noted that the establishment of the Kazakhstan Branch of the Luban Global School had created a high-quality platform foryoung people from China and Kazakhstan.

During the discussion session, the two sides held in-depth exchanges on topics including joint training for Chinese and Kazakh students, expanding pathways for international students to study in China, and promoting the sharing of educational resources.

Before the meeting, the delegation toured BUCEA’s Daxing Campus, visiting the library, the university history museum, the Multi-functional Shaking TableMatrix Laboratory, the Robotics Engineering Laboratory, the Heterogeneous Intelligent Agent Cooperative Control Laboratory and someother key research and teaching facilities.
