On June 14^th, BUCEA holds a symposium for the class of 2023 graduate representatives at the Siheyuan Meeting Room at BUCEA’s Daxing Campus. ZHANG Dayu, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee of BUCEA, president of BUCEA attended the symposium and delivered a speech. Heads of departments and representatives of the class of 2023 graduates participated in the symposium. The meeting was presided over by ZHU Jing, Member of the Standing Committee of BUCEA, and Vice President of BUCEA.

During the symposium, the graduate representatives expressed gratitude and best wishes to BUCEA and teachers for their diligent guidance. They also pledged to shoulder the mission of youth and strive to become exemplary individuals of the new era.

After listening to everyone’s speeches, President ZHANG Dayu delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing his hopes for the students. His expectations were as follows: First, to hold onto their ideals and have firm beliefs. Second, to take small steps every day and stay grounded. Third, to empower their own growth and continue their endeavors.

During the symposium, President ZHANG Dayu presented the book  History of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (1907-2020)  as a gift to the representatives of the class of 2023 graduates.
